GEM is our local ecumenical/interfaith network, connecting communities of faith to community partners so we can work together in our shared values. GEM hosts monthly Lunch & Learn events in the Spirit of Grace Fellowship Room for folks to come and connect with one another and hear from a speaker about a local community organization or project.

Bell Choir
The Spirit of Grace bell choir
is composed of 3 octaves of Whitechapel handbells from England. We have a rotating roster of 7-12 ringers who come from both our church community and the larger Hood River community. The Bell Choir performs in worship at Spirit of Grace about four times per year. All levels of experience are welcome! For more information, contact our director:

Women's Bible Study
Join Us!
Join the women of Spirit of Grace for a monthly lay-led Bible Study on the 4th Tuesday of the month from 2-4pm. They use the Bible Study materials from Gather Magazine, a ministry of the ELCA which offer a variety of themed bible study materials that are free to use.

Holy Communion
Communion Sundays:
All are welcome at the table, regardless of church membership, attendance, or particular beliefs. All who want to partake in the sacrament are always welcome and invited to do so. Our communion bread is gluten free, vegan, and allergy friendly – we have both wine and grape juice available as well. Those who want to participate without receiving communion are invited to come forward for a special blessing if they so choose.

Living in the Word
A monthly Scripture Study with Pastor Miranda. Join us on the 3rd Sunday of the month after worship as we take a closer look at one of the texts we have heard read in worship in the past month!
Quilting Group
No quilting experience required – all hands are helpful!
Come and join the quilting group as they craft beautiful handmade quilts that are collected and donated to Lutheran World Relief each year, where they are then sent off to refugees around the world.
